Leading a project to train Libyan psychiatrists and clinical psychologists in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. This is a joint venture with the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre (OCTC) and may also be supported by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust at later date. My role is to assist in the training, supervise trainees post training and conduct an evaluative study of the impact of the training on the trainees’ clinical outcomes.

Took part in the development of a training video with Dr. Deborah Lee (a leading expert in PTSD and compassion focused therapy) now being used by Praxis CBT (a skills based e-learning in CBT provider and affiliated to Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust). The video is a main teaching tool for demonstrating imaginal reliving and cognitive restructuring in the treatment of ‘hot spots’ in PTSD.
